I got a 700! 47 quant so I am very happy with that. Thank you so much for all of your help!
Hey Jim, just wanted to let you know that I took my GMAT today and I got a 720 (48Q/40V). Thanks a lot for all of your help and being patient with me throughout this process. At times during the Quant section I could almost hear your voice telling me to slow down and be diligent haha. Anyway, thanks a bunch. Really appreciate it.
620 to 760! Thank you! Your program helped me with the problems had difficulty understanding and analyzing how I approached each problem. I am so happy with the result. Thank you! Thank you!
Just wanted to say thanks. I didn't get a 700, but I did get a 690 and hit 71% on math. That likely means I wouldn't have hit that goal if I had missed this question:
I wonder who helped me with that the day before?
Thanks to everyone for your help. Got a 700 on my gmat today so thank you to everyone for your support and patience the past couple of months! Thanks again for everything.
I got a 710 today. 73 percentile in quant and 92 in verbal. I am very happy with the result. Thanks for the help.
I wanted to give you a heads up that I got into Columbia. Looks like they liked that I retook the GMAT and did better. Thanks again for the help, it paid off.
I think this is a little late, but I wanted to let you know that I was able to raise my GMAT score 100 points in September, and today I found out that I have been accepted to NYU Stern. I'm really excited and I definitely couldn't have done it without all your help, so thank you!
I just found out I got accepted to NYU Stern! I'm so excited and honestly you were by far and away the most critical part of the process for me. I've thought of you often and gave missed our sessions- if you can believe it.
Thank you for your patience and good humor. I've been thinking about how amazing and difficult my experience studying for the GMAT was- and I know that I couldn't have done any of it without you. So thanks and know that I will always be grateful.
I just wanted to take a moment and share the results with you. I ended up getting a 710 (Q47, V41 / IR 8). Overall, I think I could have done a little better, especially given my GMATPrep scores, but this was a tremendous improvement from my 590!
Thanks for all your help!
Managed to pull off a 710 yesterday! Thanks for all your help, definitely would not have been able to get such an improvement without working with your program.
Hope all is well - just wanted to update you on yesterday. Got a 730 - very happy with it. The breakdown, however was not what I expected - q47 v44.
The quant section started off a with a slight issue - there was a mixup with my 8 minute break (perhaps part my fault, but was confused when the time actually started based on what the moderator had told me). Long story short, when I started the section, I only had 71 mins as oppose to 75 - so caught me off guard a bit in the beginning. Anyway, the section went OK, but definitely didn't feel like my best (50). Verbal I thought went pretty well, but given my highest score before was a 39, I thought I'd be somewhere around 40. Needless to say, the 47 quant was a bit lower than I was hoping for (but not a big suprise given that I started late and was a bit nervous as a result), and the v44 was nicely higher than I thought.
I am very happy with the overall score. Just wanted to thank you.
73% Quant, 88% Verbal.
You're the greatest!
I just took my GMAT exam yesterday and I wanted to give you an update on my results. Overall, I got a 760 on the exam, with a scaled score of 49 on Math and 45 on Verbal. Obviously, I'm very pleased with these results, and I just want to thank you for all of your help over the past few months.
I think it's pretty clear that your program really had an impact on my score. Once again, thank you for all of your help.
Before I started using GMATAnswers, I was using a different online practice course for four months and had only raised my score on practice tests from a 67th percentile to a 72nd percentile. I ended up using GMATAnswers for a couple of months and scored in the 92nd percentile on the official test.
At only $20/month I spent several hundred dollars less on GMATAnswers and felt the overall quality was much better.
Both answer explanations and lessons are written in a very conversational manner, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just reading a textbook, making it really easy to learn and grasp the material. The other advantage of GMATAnswers is that it allows you to take lessons and do problems at your own pace and whenever you have time. Everything is hosted online and you can pick up right where you left off studying, so the platform makes it really easy to study on your time.
Another advantage I found with GMATAnswers over the other study materials I used was that answer explanations and lessons focused on teaching you the underlying principles of the material, not just how to solve specific questions.
I would definitely recommend GMATAnswers to anyone looking to add points to his or her GMAT score. It’s convenient, affordable, and does an excellent job helping you master concepts.
Jim was an awesome GMAT tutor. I started out in mid-February with about a 680 – Jim got me up to a 760 in less than a few months. I think the strongest component of Jim’s program is his personally developed quant material inside GMAT Answer. While there are plenty of practice questions designed to really test your understanding of GMAT quant concepts, the best thing about Jim’s quant material is the explanations and conceptual thinking he gives you – by the time I was done with Jim’s quant guide, I was doing some 700 level questions that would have taken me 5 minutes to do before in less than 30 seconds. The shortcuts and level of thinking Jim taught me especially on the quant section gave me the comfort and skill level to tackle that section with confidence.
On the verbal too, Jim categorizes certain question types into groups so that you start to recognize patterns and are able to eliminate many fundamentally wrong answer choices. I’m convinced his system of categorization and the practice problems he points you towards enabled me to hit a top percentile score on the verbal. I highly recommend Jim and GMAT Answers. He’s great to work with, he knows his stuff and if you’re committed to his approach, I’m positive you can see significant improvements in your score.
So I got a 630 on the GMAT... I probably could have done better, but I am grateful considering the circumstances. I had limited time to improve upon my score to begin with so I really just needed to get out of the 500s and somewhere in the 600s. This was way better than what I had before. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your help!
Got 730 on the exam today! I'm super pleased. It's funny because I never scored that high on any practice exams... In any case I think I'm satisfied with the score. Any reason you think I should take it again?
My answer was an emphatic 'no!'
Very pleased with my score, finally finding your program is what took me over the edge. Thank you!
I got a 760 today! I'm obviously thrilled! Thanks so much for all your help and everything. I definitely would not have done it without you.
I scored a 760 today (Q50 V45). Very happy about that. Thanks for your help over the last few weeks, it paid off in the end.
